David Hall, a mechanical engineering Ph.D., worked for IBM for 30 years, graduated from UT Law School, and in his second career has been successful obtaining patents and trademark and copyright registrations for many clients.
Being a Blanco County hay farmer, he particularly enjoys helping members of the farm and ranch community with patent applications, and offers fees significantly lower than those of most law firms.
David specialized in patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and licensing with Jackson Walker L.L.P. in Austin and San Antonio for three years before opening an office in the old Blanco Courthouse on the square in Blanco.
Services
As a member of the federal Patent Bar, David is authorized to file U.S. and foreign patent and trademark applications for residents of any state. Modern technology provides access to legal services without the need to visit a big-city law firm. David meets with new clients in person, on the phone, or by email.
David met Dan Moran of Brady, Texas in person for the first time when he delivered Dan’s patent for the Grub-N-Rake. Dan and David communicated by telephone, fax, and email, including preparation of the drawings for the Grub-N-Rake patent application.
In addition to filing patent, trademark, and copyright applications, David Hall can advise you on the drafting of licenses, assignments, employment agreements, and contracts.
